Lisa Laughlin, Director
Lisa’s experience stems from a career spanning more than 25 years working across a broad spectrum of HR operational, management and leadership roles. She is a Chartered Member of the CIPD who has worked in a wide variety of sectors including financial services, regulatory, public, not-for-profit and healthcare.
Lisa is values driven, empathetic in nature, confident in content and highly pragmatic. She builds strong and credible relationships that enable her to work collaboratively with clients to deliver sustainable outcomes.
Most recently, working as an interim consultant, Lisa supported a London-based financial services organisation through a large-scale transformation programme. This included leadership of teams and all the people-related aspects of organisational design and development such as:
- Implementing a new operating model and structures
- governance
- job design and competency modelling, and
- change management to drive cultural change and organisational effectiveness. She also planned and coordinated the delivery of the organisation’s largest internal recruitment campaign – filling 600 posts.
Prior to this Lisa provided project consultancy to an NHS Trust on a tender for clinical commissioning group service provision worth £693m over five years. And in a strategic HR role for a leading UK children’s charity, she developed and implemented HR shared service and business partnering models, including the associated culture and change management processes.
Lisa is commercially focussed while aligning her services, advice and support to cultural sensitivities. Successes include:
- Delivering a 12% reduction in HR service costs through efficiency savings achieved via improved procurement and process measures
- Reducing sickness absence by 60%
- Increasing internal appointments to promotional posts by 15%
- Improving employee engagement and organisational effectiveness with 90% customer satisfaction levels and top KPI results
